Das geplante Bauvorhaben „Augarten Nord“ in der Grazbachgasse/Friedrichgasse bedroht eines der besten Kinos der Stadt Graz, das Augartenkino KIZ, massiv. Geht es nach dem Bauwerber, soll das Augartenkino KIZ dem dort geplanten Geschäfts-, Büro- und Wohnkomplex noch in diesem Jahr endgültig weichen. Eine Räumungsklage wurde bereits eingereicht.

Daher hab ich eine online-Unterstützungsliste eingerichtet:

Personal

I worked and work at different medical sites:

• On the neonatological ward of the clinic for obstetrics (University of Graz) my job was to say 'hallo' to babies and helping them to pass the first 'steps' into their life outside their mothers if they needed help.
• On the ward for Pediatric Psychosomatic and Psychotherapy I helped to seek the direction for the next steps with children, adolescents and their families.
• When I worked at the Institut für Medizinische Biologie und Genetik I met people who wanted to be cloned ; )
  Clinical genetics services are provided. These include:
  • Clinical evaluations of infants, children, and adults who have malformations and/or mental retardation.
  • Prenatal/preconceptional counseling for families/women with "advanced" maternal age, abnormal maternal serum screening, drug or medication exposures, or a know family history of malformations or mental retardation.
• At Wellcon (Center for occupational medicine) we focus on the prevention and health promotion for employées.

Projects

Neonatology and Perinatology

One of my fields of special interest is Congenital Toxoplasmosis, a parasitic disease transmitted to the fetus during pregnancy. Measures of prophylaxis, early detection of the infection and treatment can avoid Congenital Toxoplasmosis and many long term effects.
My scientific interests are diagnostic and treating efficiacy and epidemiological aspects of Toxoplasmosis.

Pediatric Psychosomatics and Psychotherapy

Some fields of my special interest are:

• Therapy Evaluation and long term outcome of children/adolescents with psychosomatic diseases.
• Systems of Psychiatric Diagnosis like DSM-IV and ICD-10 and its pediatric and clinical aspects
• Treatment of Anorexia nervosa (abstract in spanish or english)
